After a long day of being cooped up in the classroom, let the kids be kids! Send them to the farm to unwind, take in the fresh air, and engage in healthy, physical activity.
Holly Hill Farm’s six-week ‘Educational After-School Program’ offers grade 1+ children the opportunity to fully experience life on the farm! Designed and led by certified teacher and farm owner, Katie Denne, this exclusive program is individually catered to the students enrolled: aiding to develop their sense of self, life and social skills, agricultural and environmental awareness and physical abilities.
This fun six-week program runs twice a week, Tuesday & Thursday, from 3:15-5:15. For those who can’t make both days, you can register for just one!
The children spend a full two hours on our working petting farm. They tend to the exceptionally friendly farm animals; developing a respect for nature and their surroundings. Highlights are always snuggling baby bunnies, collecting eggs, feeding the sheep, and welcoming newborn animals. There is always time for exploring the acreage, enjoying group games, free-play, and taking part in seasonal activities like hunting for frog eggs, gardening, and enjoying tractor rides.
