SUMMER CAMP: VET ACADEMY & OUTBACK ADVENTURE

Dates: Tuesday – Thursday, Aug 11–13 Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Cost: $279 + tax

The Dual Certification Program

Campers will earn a Junior Vet & Exotics Assistant dual certification! This hands-on program goes beyond the typical petting farm, teaching students to master safe animal handling, health assessments, and even X-ray analysis!

In addition to our domestic farm friends, campers dive into the world of our rarest residents: wallabies. From understanding marsupial behavior to learning how habitats are optimized for the Canadian climate, students will discover exactly what it takes to help these exotic animals thrive.

Highlights of the Camp:

  • Doctor’s Rounds: Using real stethoscopes, students join our “rounds” to check heart rates and conduct wellness exams on our goats, sheep, and bunnies.

  • Aussie Outback Adventure: Campers will participate in the “Great Outback Water Run” relay race and test their skills with a Boomerang!

  • Meet the Baby Wallaby: The crown jewel of the week! Every student will have supervised, one-on-one time to hold, pet, and assist in the daily care of our newest baby wallaby.

  • High-Flying Fun: Between “expeditions,” students enjoy “Aussie Air Time” on the Forest Zipline and our Giant Bounce Castle!

  • Graduation Celebration & Hot Dog Roast: On our final day, we’ll celebrate our new “Junior Vet & Exotic Specialists” with a traditional campfire hot dog roast! It’s the perfect time for campers to share their favorite memories from the week.

The Ultimate Summer Splashdown

Our most popular camp is back to close out the summer with a splash! This three-day “power session” is the perfect final hurrah, combining heartwarming animal encounters with exhilarating water-filled adventures. It’s designed to help campers connect with nature, build new friendships, and make unforgettable memories before the school bell rings.

Highlights of the Camp:

  • The Big Soak: Campers will cool off under the “Super Sprinkler Splashdown” and take on farm-wide water challenges. From the massive “Slip & Slide Mania” to the Water Slide Bouncer and our refreshing farm pool, it’s the ultimate way to beat the August heat.

  • Farm Fun & Furry Friends: Between splashes, students enjoy the best of farm life. This includes snuggling adorable animals, taking tractor rides around the property, and assisting with daily farm chores like collecting fresh eggs and feeding our friendly residents.

  • High-Flying Adventure: Every camper gets “Air Time” on our Forest Zipline and full access to the farm playground. These sessions are balanced with quiet moments in the barnyard to ensure a fun, yet “calm and peaceful” farm experience.

  • Summer Memories: Beyond the water zones, students participate in team-building games and nature exploration, ensuring they head back to school with stories to tell and a deep connection to the outdoors.

  • The Big Splash Celebration: We’ll wrap up our “final hurrah” of the summer with a farm-wide hot dog roast on Thursday! It’s a chance for campers to relax with their new friends and celebrate a summer well-spent.
